Wonder what the controls will be like.  If it were like the Skate series, but on a snowboard that would be awesome.  I miss skate.  It was fun, had controls that made simpler games like the old Tony Hawk series tough to go back to.  Other games I've seen since took it too far and made it near impossible to control a skater.

I agree with you @ndboarder. I think some of these new skateboarding/snowboarding games get way too complex on their controls. It's like the old Tony Hawk series, one of the best things was the simplicity and just grinding on everything. I played and owned Steep, but there was just too much to do. I just want different mountains, a good soundtrack and simple arcade controls. If you play this new one you will have to let us know how it is.

Given it only says Xbox and PC for launch, I'm assuming it must be something that will show up in GamePass, so we'll see.  

 
Pulled it down on my PC since I'm sitting at it and it's also on PC Gamepass.  Plugged in controller and tested it for a short bit.  It's not Skate, or at least doesn't quite feel that good to me.  Just on a bunch of tutorial runs for tricks thus far, so maybe it would eventually just be a bit more open world.  Controls don't seem too terrible.  Hold RT to charge up coming to a jump.  Hold R stick to charge a spin or L to charge a flip, use bumpers for grabs, etc.  

 
How is the new Xbox doing lately? Is everyone still playing theirs? Are they still hard to come by?

Kinda wish I would had hung onto my Xbox, been feeling like I want to play a console again.

[/QUOTE]I wasn't using it to be honest last Christmas and sold it to a coworker. Plus, I had no friends that would play with me like yourself. 😉

 
I just went to look at the game selection to see what new games I have missed out on. Honestly, there isn't that many new games since I sold it last November. I thought there would had been tons since then. 

 
All this Xbox talk is making me interested in purchasing one again.
