All things related to the Xbox platforms

Long time XBox gamer and fan but it's hard to say anything good about this. I will continue with the highest tier as well as my son's subscription as I get enough value from what they offer plus can afford BUT there are reasons it's a terrible decision and the backlash is very justifyable. My son uses the fortnite crew so that makes up the difference alone for him. I can use mine to get the vbucks and gift him in game stuff so not bad. He did tell me though Fortnite is losing players and at the lowest in about 5 years.

Now onto the bad. First is many can't afford the already steep price. SOmetimes the lowest is not easy. I feel bad as son's best friend can only afford a month here and there so can't play online without it with them and if only had core misses some of the games the higher levels can play. I'm sure many more out there. A $10 increase that quick is just terrible and you see the reaction of many. You know it was a clueless greedy exec with no real idea about the gamers and/or fans that actually pay and use the service. THey just saw dollr signs and how to line their pockets. Now they have to tell those who communicate with the actual gamers ways to make the increase seem fair and worth it.

Just insanity.

I use my Xbox Series Xas a sort of "home device" for streaming and games. It has good Wi-Fi reception and serves really well in that role. My girlfriend loves it as the controller is easier to use than a TV remote. I however grew up gaming on Xbox so I'm sad to see it slowly become an oversized Roku.

There have been many times I wish I could have bought a popular game at Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy, but their selection is the problem. The game I want is usually sold out if they sell it, and they never, I mean NEVER re-stock their supplies. I have gone to two different walmarts for two years now and titles with spaces on their shelf have remained empty for the entire 2 year period. I do not believe it to be an issue of not wanting to buy, but one of inconvenience. For one, you have to ask a usually frustrated or annoyed-seeming and busy employee to open the case to get the title you want. That is already a check against wanting to drop $70.00 on a whim because I'm in the store. The second issue is the one that I brought up before. The title remains unstocked for up to two years without employees removing tags or replacing the spaces. I think that their store managers' ignorance about the release of games, development companies and products are the culprit here.

If they simply purchased & re-sold five copies of more than 50% of a console market's catalog, including some rarer titles, and continued to keep them in stock with anti-theft boxes, people would be a lot more willing to buy hard copies of games. That and triple A games are 70$ now compared to 50$ and 60$ over the years, and of course the console game market would be the first sales to plummet.

Inflation of common items & groceries have made consumers far more wary about their purchases. We all know that income hasn't increased while prices have.

Uhhhhhh

Well it’s over fox Xbox, sounds like the new boss wants every app to be Ai, in fact it sounds like all her X responses are Ai driven as well. I don’t even know if you will see another Xbox at this point forward. What went so wrong? Out the door it did good and then about a year ago it just stopped.
