Apple products and their iOS

iOS 18.2 is supposed to be out at any time today, I am not seeing a set time though, but I have been refreshing.
 
The Apple AI stuff isn't really developed/integrated yet from what I hear. Just basically access to ChatGPT and some other underwhelming features. It's early yet for them.

Too much of a rush if you ask me to try to be the first. It's still a phone first, they need to remember that. I welcome some new features that might use it like word dictation, or something that makes day to day life better.

I actually think they are playing catch up and trying to rush now. It'll get there eventually.
 
Didn't they do this with the last series as well trying to make a budget friendly phone and it failed?

Historically they don't sell as many as the more expensive models but they have a niche for the lower budget folks to warrant keeping them in the lineup.
