They also let some press into their test facility where they tested the devices for bending and such. Videos are out there of it. Also said they have had only 9 claims of bent devices, so as per the norm, the internet has blown things fairly out of proportion.

Not even close.Apple's hardware looks nice, but their software is dismal. I've used all the different mobile OS in some form or another. Many other manufactures make devices that look good as well and offer as much or more functionality. An iOS device is the last thing I would consider purchasing.

New IOS 8.1.1 udpate out which improves some of the performance issues on the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

My 4S since the 8.0 upgrade and even 8.1 update has been slow, clunky, and random crashes.

Hopefully it actually fixes them this time. Things seem to have been very buggy since 8.0.

My main wish is for fixes to the aftermarket keyboards lift Swiftkey and Swype. They are so buggy and it's not the software fault all the aftermarket keyboard are buggy. They all blame Apple.

I've never tried the aftermarket stuff for that reason.

Oh trust me once you use those keyboards it's hard to go back. Android the work perfect, but not on Iphones. I'll try later when I got some time and see if they fixed anything.

Well, I think we reached peak iPod touch 4 at our house. My daughter wanted to play Crossy Road (and so should you) but it requires a higher iOS, 7 I think.
