Did the world end in 2012? The dead internet theory

Looks like China or another entity are sure pushing their propaganda across social media lately. These are started last week. Another phase rollout. Just shows you how these massive companies can manipulate the media.

Face it, we already know how terrible any internet, social media and other such current world ways of living are. Doesn't matter if it's "healthy" in nature it's not at all. It's basically choose a side and let the lies and misinformation flow and see how many people we can deceive, join the side and then spread the trash and fight those who think differently. I hate to say it but it's ruining marriages, friendships, families and everyone.

I could go on but it would take so long to discuss it all. Basically we can't think for ourselves. We can't enjoy or experience anything for ourselves. We need to be told what to do and how to do it. Growing up we got to experience things like ramping our bikes off a flimsy ramp or a curb or a big dirt hill. We survived. Sure sometimes an injury happened or something broke but we had fun and learned that way. Now we find an online message board saying better not leave your house or might end up ran over by a drunk clown on a snowmobile. Kids then are told it's too scary to do anything but live in a bubble. Same for everyone. Oh no this or that fat is bad for us. Doritos will kill us all. Get rid of that poison. Get out of here with that. In moderation doritos will not harm anyone. Same with most everything else.

I know Elon Musk believes we live in a simulation:

Elon Musk says we may live in a simulation. Here's how we might tell if he's right (nbcnews.com)

Then there is the theory of the Quantum Observer effect which acts just like a video card render.

When a quantum "observer" is watching Quantum mechanics states that particles can also behave as waves. This can be true for electrons at the submicron level, i.e., at distances measuring less than one micron, or one thousandth of a millimeter. When behaving as waves, they can simultaneously pass through several openings in a barrier and then meet again at the other side of the barrier. This "meeting" is known as interference.
Strange as it may sound, interference can only occur when no one is watching. Once an observer begins to watch the particles going through the openings, the picture changes dramatically: if a particle can be seen going through one opening, then it's clear it didn't go through another. In other words, when under observation, electrons are being "forced" to behave like particles and not like waves. Thus the mere act of observation affects the experimental findings.
What about Lunar ripples? You have seen the old monitors and tv's that have a refresh rate. Seems like the moon does as well:

I was thinking about this. I don't think most people understand how far AI development has come. Why do you think CAPTCHAS are all over on the web? You would be surprised on how bots can solve them. You would also be surprised on how many scour the web. I am talking about keywords look ups that can take something that you have written, decode and pull out keywords and then compile a whole new phrase and post it while making it look like it is coming from a living human. There are also purposely misspelled words to make it not seem 100% perfect. This is all automated. You can have them either post positive/neutral/negative reactions to things written on the web. This is just the bot side of things not the human posting farms. It's robotic propaganda. You will never know if your conversing with a real human or not anymore. This is part of the fake news/deep state that people aren't fully understanding.

I think all the recent talk and excitement of AI and Deepfakes really shows you how the internet isn't all it's made up to be. It shows you how many people on forums are not real, people that are on social media are not real. You think you might be interacting with someone, but in reality, you're not. It's what I have been talking about for a while now, the whole chatGPT is just bringing it to light.

I hate it! Hate it all. I used to love the better times of the internet but spend enough time with/on it, have a brain that isn't too "washable" and you will realize it too. Sad is wife and kids are being sucked in by it. I can't stand the always used fake AI female voice you hear in nearly every mind melting video. I can't stand hearing the dumb "oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no" song. All of it. I hate it.

Man, just looking at the news and everything is a joke anymore. It's getting so bad people really are thinking we are living in a simulation because everything is so dumb and backwards anymore.

So now that Ai has hit the mainstream and some of you can see the power of what Ai can do, maybe the 'dead internet' theory has some truth to it?

I hate to bring this up again, but me and @C Pav were just talking about this last night. Why does it feel like we are living in backwards land anymore? Everything is the opposite of what it should be. This new world would make a great Twilight Zone episode. A man wakes up where everything is the opposite of what it should be. You know why I enjoy video games? Because they are more normal than the world we live in these days. Everything is a joke anymore. Rant.. Rant... Rant...

This thread really has got me wondering, what if the entire internet is run by Ai. I also believe that the internet makes you feel like it is a wide big world. But I think in reality it's not as big as you think. What if sites like Facebook and X are not made up of so many users as they portray?y. I mean when you see all these people on Facebook or X, how do you know that those photos on Facebook are really real? Do you know all these people? No, you only know the ones you know which are actually a small drop in the bucket. Same goes for X, how do you know all these people are actually writing this stuff? Have you ever seen these people behind the monitors? Maybe it's all just Ai doing the posting?

I have been reading about some of the new Ai tools for forums that are starting to come out. I can totally see why the dead internet theory exists now. I mean the Ai has gotten so good you really don't know if the person that is responding to you on a forum is really real or not. Shoot maybe I am not even real on Fluxoid.

I think @C Pav is starting to realize this. I still say something happened in 2012, because it all seemed to go downhill since then, and everything is flipped the opposite.
