Inflation & the upcoming recession

Grim times reading about all the layoffs which is only the beginning. Funny how several months ago too many without a clue thought job market was good. Oh so easy to get a nice raise by finding another job. Yeah, finding another job isn't as easy as some dumb idiots think. Now so many startups and even big companies are laying off. Sad thing is if and when things right themselves, IFFFFF, think anyone will trust working for some of these places?

I heard the job reports are false, it's not because people are getting more jobs, it's because people are having to take on a second job due to inflation and they are counting those.

I will be perfectly clear and tell it how it is. Clown deniers eat up whatever this circus administration feeds them. Not a recession so nope we are fine. Truth is no, we are not fine. It's a recession but only the educated will admit. Now those uneducated fools can only lap up what they want to hear to feel safe. They fall back on calling anyone who supports Republican party views a "trumper". Such hurtful words because that's all they have. Go work and pay taxes and get back to me. Now if a headline or someone against their views say anything against them, like Recession under the Biden administration/presidency, they go stright to it's not Biden's fault or it's Trumps fault or Russias fault. IT DOESN'T matter! You know if Trump was president and we had this they would look to impeach him for it somehow and of course blame him but since it's their guy in well somoene elses fault. It's who is president who takes the blame no matter the reason. Own up to the fact governemtn just isn't great no matter who runs it.

What happens when the next quarter is negative? Do you think they will admit to a recession then? Or just change the definition again?

To the above, exactly. Take gas. He is tweeting, Biden, how gas is under $4 a gallon in over half the states. AWESOME! BUt how about how it went up so much so fast? Why is it dropping so slow? And the bigger question, is why won't anything else that went up ever go down? The cost of food, services and everything else will never go down.

Well it's just like I said here:

The population is dumb, and you will think, well it's way better. Not really, you have just already forgotten what it was. It's a mental thing.
