Inflation & the upcoming recession

When looking at these things (similar to Stock Market historical performance), it's important to look at percentages per year. Or a value trend with a log scale and ability to adjust for inflation.

While 2020 itself did historically have the highest debt increase in a long time, the graph below shows percentage comparing all years.

The tariff thing is going to be interesting between Trump and Elon. It's Trump's favorite word but Elon is opposed to much of it.

I was thinking about how much I used to eat out before 2020. Like when me and @C Pav used to eat out daily for years. You could go to a fast-food joint and eat at fast food prices. Now they are sit down prices.

2 things I think Trump should be focusing on more than anything right now, is lowering the cost of gas and groceries, these two things are what I think are on the minds of every American right now. The both coincide with each other as well, the more the fuel is the higher the cost of groceries.

Americans about to feel the squeeze, this will end the 'middle class', only rich and poor from here on out. I wouldn't be surprised if this ushers in a recession. Ya I'm bitter.
