I’ve heard that many times, if they would loosen the reins and allow more independent processing companies it would drop the prices. Basically they are manipulating the beef market and can raise/lower prices as they see fit.

Will be interesting to see what happens. R's are racing against the midterm clock to get scrounge up votes.

I think their goal is right before election time to have that gas sitting at the $1.50-$2.00 mark, and checks out to citizens, etc.

Low gas prices are already figured in to people's minds so they need something else. Yes the stimmy checks right before midterms is probably a lock.
