Yep, it was an era where wrestling was at it's highest and best and video games were booming. I was a Playstation guy so never had the N64 and now regret it as so amny great games I missed. I know the WWe No Mrcy game was also very popular. I'd have to read around to see which were rated as best.
One other benefit of the Genie was that it fit so well into the NES. All the games worked instantly without having to do the "dust blow" reload maneuver 10 times first.
Yep. I remember the day it was released. It was November 21, 2004 which was a Sunday. Kind of strange to release on a SUnday. I remember sitting at my computer, living at home with parents, that morning. Reading on it and thinking worth a try to get one but probably would sell out fast. Drove up to Walmart when they opened and surprised nobody there to buy any and they had them on the shelves.
