Just put some positivity on it though. Sure it will drop every day until Friday and lose over 1200 points but hey at least Friday it will go up by 400 points so it can do it all next week.
Ah you're starting to notice the trend now. It's all just a carrot on a stick if you ask me. They know it's toast, but they are manipulating it so that it barely holds on. The real question is how long can they keep it up before people become wise and fold their cards?

That market!
Bloodbath out there boys, sold almost all my stuff.
If I had a dollar everytime you said you sold everything I could invest and sell everything.

@C Pav, this time it's different. Tell me a way out of this mess, because even our own government doesn't have an answer.
Oh I wasn't disagreeing. I just thought you already sold everything a few times already. But yeah things are bad.

I left a little in there, but even with the little left I was still losing tons, that's how dreadful things are out there. I believe there is no hope for the market any longer. I thought maybe with a new administration, but I don't think that can fix it since it will be so run into the ground by then.

Nothing has been a surprise so far. As I stated before, I'm expecting S&P 3500-3600 levels, and that is when I will start getting interested in adding money to the beaten up names. Short term will be more pain, but I play the long game. As in 20+ years. My bet is it will go up over the long run as it has since market inception. In the meantime I have been enjoying these growing energy dividends I get sent every quarter, sometimes more often.

I read that over in China/those areas, you can no longer pull money out of the banks, and the ATMs are shutdown, so many people are pulling their money out that they have stopped them even with their own money. You must make an appointment or something.

I just had a conversation with my boss this morning. He is starting to worry about upcoming work. He has been talking to the rest of the business owners and the future is not looking great. With the new interest rate increases they aren't going to help but break our entire market. You will eventually have people like myself that no longer have faith in the market, and start to pull their money out, that just bottoms it out even more. What a shit show, a downward spiral, and there is no end in sight.

You can call me a downer, but I just see things for what they are and what I see coming. All I see in the future is higher, and higher gas prices, food prices, and more crime due to all of this. When people kids get hungry, reasonable men will do un-reasonable things...

See I'm a pessimist/realist. It's much easier to think of the worst instead of being always opptimistically positive so when things do kick you in the nuts you knew what to expect instead of being caught off guard. If things turn out good then it's even better because you were expecting or prepared for the worst.
