@jmanz did you see that rumor that Elon bought Ford floating around yesterday? I came in and my boss is like "Elon bought Ford". I said I don't think so or Twitter would had been reporting it all over. Later on I saw that it was debunked. I don't think Elon has any interest in gas powered cars, when he is doing fine with his electric ones.
 
I know two friends who have bought EV's within the last year. And neither were Tesla which I thought was weird. And they aren't anti-Elon either or dems. I would rather just get the best EV brand if I were to do it. One was a Jeep and the other Nissan. I guess one neighbor down the street did pick up a Tesla car recently but I don't know him very well.

My friend who bought the Nissan EV just uses it as a town cruiser to go back and forth to work. They have a gas vehicle for longer trips. He said the EV is unusable for that currently.
 
I hear Elon talking about Tesla releasing their flying car, and it's hard to fathom, but then again, if you had told me 20 years ago that there would be self-driving cars, I would have called you crazy.

I wouldn't bet against that guy, like him or not.
