Where did all the record scratching go in music?

So, I have been meaning to make this thread for a while now. But where has all the record scratching gone in music? You know what I mean, it seems like from the 2000s on up till about 2015 there was always record scratching in music, from pop, to rap, to even rock bands like Linkin Park etc. I have noticed listening to music these days, this has all disappeared now. I used to like it in some songs back in the day. It must have just been a fad in music, I guess.

Still around I say, but not so much in actual Songs/Tracks.

More on the djing side such as DMC and some Mixes.

You may just need to look up some mixes if you are itching for some Scratching

I just enjoyed the scratching in some of the heavier rock/metal songs. Sometimes the scratching fit in real well.
