Pretty sure it's supposed to know what you are gonna write next. Typically I could probably start typing the first word, within a few characters I see an option for the word I am typing, and from there I could complete the rest from predicted/suggested words on phone. Generally though I just go for shape writing and punch out the message that way (like Swype, but built in to the keyboard on my device)
 
Can't decide between swype or swiftkey. Swype is .99 cents and swiftkey is free. Anyone suggest one over the other?
 
BTW, this is crazy. I finally downloaded ios7 because I was tired of the discounted games not running for ios6. Now ios8 is out. :smh: Its been 6 or 7 weeks.
 
Try swiftkey first, if you don't like it try swype.

I love the swiping feature of the keyboard best, it's fun and much faster. If you want to try a free good rated swipe keyboard, search for touchpal, go through directions to install as your new keyboard keyboard.

I remember first using Swype on a Microsoft Phone 4 years ago and loved it so much it was actually fun to type.

I know I have beensending @C Pav random texts because it's actually fun. Plus they have multiple themes included where you can change the colors.
 
lol I feel like an idiot I was even using swype all wrong. I don't even need to hit the space bar just let up for a split second and it puts the space in for you. I never have to tap again.
 
Read the article man... If you have no issues then you are probably fine, if you have issues, downgrade (not sure exactly what that entails)
 
Phone just blew up, pieces every where, going to buy a Windows phone bbl.
 
Apple in ruins...

I have a 4S and updated this morning too, funny thing with the whole iOS 8 being the only difference in the keyboard changes, everything else I haven't noticed.
