It's pretty crazy how the Portal has come back to life the last month. I even see it on some websites as their top selling items now. With their last update fixing a bunch of things and enabling Cloud games, people are starting to purchase this even over a regular PS5. I usually have purchase regret with a lot of things that I purchase, but I don't regret this at all, it has really changed my video game playing. I guess I am more of a couch guy now.
I picked up Helldivers 2 and couldn’t even play it.

Do it! I don't have it, have the older 1...still sealed in the box was shipped from BUT do hae the Oculus Quest 3s (would have gotten the 3 but didn't have it and didn't realize wasn't the 3 as was for son and yeah was that day purchase but still great, amazing and awesome). Anyway VR is way more amazing than I had ever realized from the short setup and stuff I did for our/son's.
Ya I tried a demo of the Oculus 3 at a Target last year with me and my daughter and it was pretty amazing. I think what I thought VR was going to be and how far VR has come were two different things. (I didn't know you had one). I know @jmanz boy was wanting one as well. I think they are pretty popular with the younger crowd. With the new Price drop and I think it's pretty reasonable now. I didn't even know about the VR2 and I thought you still had to have all these wires and cameras like the first gen. Seems like it has come a long way and has great specs like the Oled screens etc. Plus, I looked though the game library and there are quite a few big games out there now and looking at what is to come there are quite a few big titles coming. The game included looks amazing as well. Plus, my birthday is coming up.

Yeah he wanted one since all his friends were playing it a bunch more instead of XBox and such. He asked...asked..begged...offered to pay half and all that. Wife gave the okay that would count to his future gifts and more chores needed to be done so went to walmart and got it. Regret is I was going to get the 3 but were out. GOt the 3s but it's still awesome and will upgrade one day. PSVR2 though would be amazing.

I tried to tell @nodle long ago how popular VR was getting with the younger crowd but noooooo he wasn't having it.
I miss Gran Turismo. Before getting into XBox with Project Gotham Racing and of course Forza Gran Turismo 3 was so good on the PS2.
