What's new

PlayStation Gaming Discussion – PS5, PS4, Games & Sony PlayStation News

Looks dam good! Where is the dust now @C Pav ?
Seems the dust is still present... This is all coming next year. So, apparently sometime next year once Uncharted 4, new God of War (if it isn't a reboot), etc have hit shelves I'll have to look at buying PS4

Nope I did not. All I need to know about it is that it's another Uncharted game and isn't a remake of a previous one. Release is a ways out, so while it will be one of the exclusives they have to have before I own a PS4, it isn't close enough to garner any excitement yet. Plus, once those exclusives do ship, I'll buy them and (hopefully) play them, then it will collect dust like my PS3 does now.

Sadly, I bought but never even finished the last God of War... which is now making me question how much I care that another one is coming. ...

Let's never forget...

I can't wait for this one to come out. I just checked out the official site and it has a trailer or two. From what I can find it supposedly comes out in February '07 sometime.
LinkIt's amazing how kool-aid can change a man.

Here we go again... Blame the fucking Kool-Aid again you $#%@^. I don't see how Kool-Aid has anything to do with the fact I got bored of the last God of War and never finished it. Do you have the exact same tastes and opinions you had 8 years ago. Grow up.God of War and God of War 2 were pretty unique games, but there have been many clones, so it just isn't that unique and after so many iterations and playing similar games it just didn't capture my attention anymore.

Seriously, SERIOUSLY, out of 47 indie games....only 2 will probably be anywhere decent. It's just like Steam. Tons of crap. Or like the Wii was, tons of shovelware that isn't worth paying for.

Look at you two going off. Don't know Indie games. Some of the best games I have played in the last two years were small little indie titles. Look at all the good ones that hit the xbla on the 360.

Name one (Hint: Costume Quest, and such are not indie games)

You miss the point... again. You left out some information for the sake of your opinion. These are 47 indie games, some may still come to Xbox, many may not.

To name a few indies: Limbo, spelunky, terraria, Guacamelee, Minecraft (started indie, not really anymore).

The list of popular / successful indie games is pretty short. I don't know anything about those in the list, maybe a handful will be gems. Most are unlikely to rise to the top though...

Well on the PS4 there was The Unfinished Swan, Journey, Flower etc. Flower was meh, but the others were great. The more games coming to a system the better. Doesn't matter if you don't play them. But having variety is nice.

Variety is great. I just posted in here in this thread today that some of what they have coming will mean I'll get a PS4 when they are available.

I was just clarifying that this list of 47 games are Indies, which most of us will likely never hear about again. They'll be lost in the swarm of small indies trying to get noticed and the big AAA titles launching on all platforms over the next year.

Arguing aside, as of now 2015 so far has more exclusives I am excited for on the PS4 than other systems. The Order:1866, Bloodborne and of course MLB 15: The Show.

Ugh... You left Uncharted off that list. 1866 will be good. If bloodborne is like Dark Souls I'm skipping that oneAlthough, if all it takes is 3 - Halo 5, Quantum Break, Scalebound - I would add Temple of Osiris, but I guess that launches tomorrow, not 2015

The list I went off does not show Uncharted for 2015.

Did I mention despite someone thinking all I do is drink Kool-Aid at work, I have a God Of War poster hanging in my cubicle...

I thought it was announced to be in 2015 over this past weekend. The game I'm actually most excited for in 2015 is cross platform - Arkham Knight.
