Rumor: PS4 has sold more than 8 million units worldwide

They were right last time about the 7 million sold and Sony announcing it soon.

Other interesting points:

Killzone Shadowfall - 2.8m

Infamous Second Son - 1.4m

Knack - 1.3m (~90% of the sales being bundled units)

Watch Dogs - Over 1 million on PS4

MGS : GZ has sold over a million copies on PS4.

The PS4 version of Destiny has over 1 million preorders globally.

The number of consoles sold is impressive. The number of copies for each of those games is not as much, not compared to most existing blockbuster type games and the number of sales they can push in one week. The exceptions areWatch Dogs given it has only been out a few days and Destiny given it isn't out yet.

I'm still waiting for the facts to back your statements. I read through news articles on it, didn't read much of any unexpected game announcements and most shown that made headlines seem to be cross platform or timed exclusives. Tell me what I"m missing
 
Missing how about all the games they announced? I'm not gonna sit here and name them all. But it was a shit ton more than the xbox had. Was it all perfect? No. I couldn't care less about PS tv. It's neat and all but not my cup of tea. I think Francis summed it up good.

 
The headlines from yesterday and today certainly convey a lot of positivity regarding Sony's E3.
 
Although not exclusive people will be playing Destiny a whole lot sooner than on the xbox. This was huge deal for alot of people. It's the one game everyone is waiting for. Who would had ever thought that from Bungie that use to be xbox only?
 
Has anyone figured out when/where no man's sky is going to be released? Their announcement was some cryptic wording regarding first console, PS4 and such. Left much speculation on whether it would actually come to PC first, then PS4, then other consoles. PS4 first, then PC + other consoles, or otherwise.

I also don't understand you @nodle. Good for DF to remaster an old game, yet I've seen you criticize other studios for releasing a remastered version of other popular games. Is remastering good or bad?

Yeah, then you have Sunset Overdrive, that has been getting pretty positive press, from Insomniac that was PS exclusive. Except Sunset is an Xbox One Exclusive and Destiny is cross platform. Also, you may be playing a Destiny beta earlier, the final product doesn't ship any sooner one place or the other. Then if it is like most beta's any progress you made during beta will be lost

Sunset what? No one really cares about this, but on the ps4 your have the order 1886, Uncharted 4, The Last of us, Ratchet and Clank remake + movie (though you would be all over this) Abzu - which is going to be amazing since it was from the people that did Journey, no mans sky,project beast, little big planet, entwined, the list goes on and on. Plus notice that most of them are new, there are some remakes, and dlc I think in Second Son, but at least there are new titles. Plus let's not forget project Morpheus - an actual use for a camera device instead of NSA spying... BOOOMMMMMMMMM!

I picture ndboarder right about no spilling kool-aid all over the place and going on a rampage.


 
New? You listed as many or more remakes and sequels than new games. Little big planet, do people care about that? Pretty sure just as few as who care about Sunset. I don't think I'm the one spilling Kool-Aid today. I think a Sony troll has hacked nodles account.

yeah, I saw they were remastering the original ratchet and clank. Uncharted, the Order and The last of us are the only games I see that Sony said anyting about that I would care to play though. One of those I could go get today for PS3, the others are a ways out.

Do I think it had more, no. Do you honestly think Sony did, because I don't think they did either. Both got up there, showed some exclusives and showed a lot of cross platform stuff with bull shit exclusivity (on both sides). Each has some interesting games.Mostly I just think you are wrong about everything all the time, no matter what. Now go back to playing WoW and leave consoles for the big kids.
