But why does it matter and why even take this as "the PS4 is better"? So what if MS is making changes for the better? All systems makes changes sooner or later. Sony shouldn't talk anyway. Look at the original disastrous price when the PS3 was first released. Then they DIDN'T listen to fans and started taking away things people wanted like BC and ability to install Linux among other features.

Someone's been drinking the Kool-aid.
http://www.x-entertainment.com/pics/kool1.jpgSays the guy stuck in WoW, leaves, goes back, leaves goes back, leaves.....and besides I have all the systems and make love to all of them equally. So you are saying I am wrong? I am not saying Microsoft has been honest and hasn't back tracked on their stance because they knew they screwed up to begin but the changes are at least to what a majority of the gamers want.

Ubisoft: Watch_Dogs will run at 900p on PS4 and 792p on XB1, both at 30fps

The game also looks great on both generations of consoles. On new-gen systems the game will run at 900p on PS4 and 792p on Xbox One, at 30 frames-per-second on both consoles. While some new-gen games now offer native 1080p, Morin says it’s much more important to deliver an amazing next-gen experience than it is to push a few more pixels onto a screen. “Resolution is a number, just like framerate is a number. All those numbers are valid aspects of making games,â€ he says. “But you make choices about the experience you want to deliver. In our case, dynamism is everything. Exploration and expression are everything. You want to have a steady framerate, but you want to have dynamism at the core of the experience. The same goes with resolution. People tend to look at corridor shooters, for example, where there’s a corridor and all the effects are on and it’s unbelievable, and they forget that if you apply those same global effects to an open city with people around and potential car crashes and guys in multiplayer showing up without warning, the same effect is applied to a lot of dynamic elements that are happening in every frame. So it becomes magnified in cost.â€

So how close do you have to sit, to how large of a screen to see the difference between 900p and 792p?

As much as I really don't give a shit about the resolution of game as long as its fun, I do wish they've give up on these stupid made up things like 900p or 792p. I don't know who decided they should rate TVs or things on TVs with such dumb numbers. I'm assuming 900p is 1440 x 900, no clue WTF 792p would really work out to.

Hey man just reporting the numbers...

It's not my fault the xbox one is using all it's power to report back to the NSA

;)

Not much for me to say. Both are probably great systems. I haven't played the xbone but I can tell you that the PS4 is a great gaming system. I certainly am enjoying it thus far and haven't regretted the purchase.

Play any Show yet? I played the home run derby and 2 exhibition games. First game I won and liked it but second game I got shut out. I have it on the adaptive difficulty where it changes on how you play but it seemed like the first game it was working fine and the second game it kicked my face in. I will have to adjust some sliders. Overall though it's a great looking game and I can tell a difference for the better from last year.

Yes I have played a couple games. I started a short season (not a franchise) with the Braves. I just don't have the available time anymore to play a bigger season. I did some batting practice before I started to get the rust off. Of course game one I was matched up against Jose Fernendez and he struck me out 12 times. I lost that one 8-1. Next game I won vs the Nationals. Pretty awesome game, I didn't get last years for the PS3 so I can tell the improvements. Looking forward to more games. Did you start a season yet?

It would be an interesting move, given they had it initially on the PS3 and took it away. Are you sure it is true local emulation of PS3 games where you'd be able to drop in your PS3 disc and play? Or is this something with their game streaming service? I still can't imagine streaming an HD game from some server is going to work really well over most internet connections, or make family members happen (either when you disrupt their Netflix or vice versa)
